Performances!!

So tonight I was dragged, by my brother's girlfriend, to one of her performances with her dance company, Terpsichore, to record them perform.....Which I didn't end up doing any way because my brother recorded them, so I could have stayed in my room and watched House!! lol Anyway so they performed in Lee Hall for America's Best Dance crew, sponsored by the school, not the actual show, as like entertainment for the crowd while the judges got together and judged the groups that had performed. They all did a really good job peformance wise so did Terpsichore, of course... But the audience was another story.....

1st.

You know how when your going to see someone perform you usually try 2 either sit by a group of people you know or by a group of people that won't keep up to much noise or on a row by yourself. Well for some reason everytime I go to a performance i'm always surrounded by some form of ignorance and it's soooo annoying , especially when your actually trying to enjoy the performance!! So me and my brother ended up sitting on a row by ourselves with this one guy sitting beside me,then as the show was getting ready to start this group of loud people suddenly migrated around us, three loud girls came and sat on our row and so of course they scared away the guy that was sitting beside me, then one of the heavy set ones apparently knew the people sitting infront of us and came over to sit in the seat next to me and damn near sat on my hand that was on the arm rest!! Then her friend ran around her and went to sit on the girl's lap they were talking to, now keep in mind these girls are probably about 21 or 22 at the most, and started talking like each of them were on the other side of the room while the audience itself was getting quieter, because there were people on the stage, so they were most of the noise that was going on in the auditorium. So they finally shut up and get in their seats for the 1st group of dancers to come on. I thought that mayb, just mayb that they wouldn't start back talking until like the intermission.....That hope was quickly dashed to pieces!!! They started talking about the little kids that were dancing on stage and what they had on...now I didn't agree with some of the stuff the little girls had on, because frankly I think that what they had on was not appropriate for their age groups, but I also took into consideration that they were dancing with older girls and they were trying to match them, plus with our society now-a -days that's what little girls are wearing now, so I can't say much about what their parents let them wear out of the house, but I know better then to talk about them louldly and insultingly with their family members and love ones sitting next to or around me. And I sure would not be talking about these kids when I looked a hot mess myself..lol..

2nd.

Ok so I'm not sure if your familar with dance or not, but there is a form of dancing called interpretive dance, now this form of dancing is mean't to convey the emotion portrayed in the music or to tell a story through your body movement. Anyway I'm assuming that most of the people in this particular crowd had never actual seen interpertive dancing before.... I say this because the last group to come onto the stage was a group of girls that apparently specialize in this form of dancing and as soon as they started dancing the people behind me, infront of me, and to the side of me started talking, asking ridiculous questions such as "What are they doing?" "What the hell?" "Are they done yet?"..... Or making stupid statements such as "This isn't dancing" "They look a mess, what the hell are they doing up there?" "They suck"..... Now these girls were quite talented and if the audience was accustom to this form of dancing, they probably would have won the popularity vote, but of course that went to some drill team group, who were of course popping and what not.....personally, I don't think they should have gotten that because all they were doing was dancing like they were on a drill team.... but hey that's just my opinion.........

Anyway... I think that it's just horrible you can't go to actual events like these without having to worry about sitting by or around ignorant people who just make you want to hit them with sharp things, but you can't because it's mean and you might go to jail for that... lol.... But they just take all the enjoyment out of going to said events caus their criticism is unjust and their statements make them look ooh soo stupid....... The best thing you can do is ignore them and hope that they shut up!!!! lol

Soo that's the end of that.. lol ... I'll leave you with this quote by Steve Polyak:

"Before we work on artificial intelligence why don't we do something about natural stupidity?"

Game Day

So I went to the Msu and Florida game today!! yaaay!! We actually did pretty good considering Florida's #1 in the bcs standings, yaaay us!! Good Job defense y'all really kept us in the game!!! But the game itself is not what I plan on talkin about today, i'm here to talk about the fans and all their craziness!! I'ma break it up into two categories; The girl fans and the guy fans.................

The Girl Fans:

Ok, so I get the whole looking good at the game , of course i'm all for that, you don't want to look jus hideous/ unattractive with a bunch of people you don't kno, especially with cute strangers everywhere!! lol But for one thing, what sense does it make to wear heels to a game? Stilletos at that? Especially if your arriving to the game like 30 minutes before it starts and you have to walk all the way up to the sky deck, not to mention a bunch of stairs to find a seat for you and your friends. Now that just isn't smart!! And then you have the audacity to say "Omg, my feet hurt" well of course they are going to hurt genius!! And then not only do they wear the 6 inch stilletos, they put on super tiny mini skirts in 50 degree weather!! Now I love me my mini skirts, but i have enough common sense to wear it when the weather allows it, a football game ,were the temp is barely 50 degrees, and then the wind is blowing so it's making it even colder is not an appropriate time to wear a mini. I don't care if you do have tights on you still look a little crazy with it on, caus you and I both kno that if you have on the mini your going to also have on a short jacket to show it off, or a long jacket that's open the entire time so you might as well have a short jacket on. Now for the people who do actually have the tights on, I applaud you, though you lacked the common sense to put on pants atleast you had enough to put on something that wouldn't have you completely expose to the cold air... which brings me to the next group of girls.... the girls who wear mini skirts with no tights and open toe shoes...what were you thinkin? Really? And as if that wasn't bad enough you have some girls walking around with the open toe shoes, with no nail polish on wat so ever and then their toe nails look like they haven't been clipped in like a year and to top it off all they're ashy!!! What the F were you thinking???Really? What possibly could have been going through your mind when you came outside? And why didn't your friends say anything about it? Which brings on the question...R they truly your friends? Caus i know that my friends what have blatantly said "Girl, you need to put some lotion on your ashy ankles" or "Girl, you need to put those dogs up, or cut and paint them" lol I think you might need some better friends if they don't try 2 help you not look like a fool!! Last but not least.... the drunk girl fan.... Ok if your going to drink before a game you probably shouldn't get so drunk you can't walk up the stairs, or forget where your friends are, though they are right in front of you. I kno that most guys when at football games are drinkin or already drunk, that's ok on some level because 1. guys can drink more alcohol then girls without gettin drunk, they're bodies are jus made that way, 2. if your a girl that attends football games then you already kno that there are goin to be drunken idiots somewhere in the stadium, plus guys do a better job with their drunken behavior then most girls. From what i've observed, drunk girls have a tendency to talk extremely loud to the person that right beside them, they can not stand on bleacher seat for more then 12 seconds, i kno i counted lol, they tell the people beside them stuff that they should really keep to themselves, or tell them in a private place like umm at your sorority house or dorm room, yes most of the drunk girls i encountered tonight had sorority paraphernalia on.... so i'm assuming that being drunk in public is not frowned up on in their houses... Then I had one girl infront of me tell her friend " I couldn't stay awake where i was sitting, i want to sit with you mayb my drunkness will wear off" ....all I have to say is .......okkkk??

Now on to the guys......

The Guy Fans:

There isn't much surprise to guy behavior at football games, as I stated before most of them are drunk and you expect certain behaviors from them. What I have a problem with is the guys that smoke in the stadium!! Like seriously what makes you think that's it's ok to smoke in the stadium? Is it because your outside? Newsflash guys there are people behind and infront of you!! Secondhand smoke is just as bad as smoking yourself!! And then what makes it so bad is they don't just smoke one cigarette, they smoke the entire game!! And then if you say something to them they look at you crazy or get an attitude!! I, for one, kno that I don't want to be bombard with smoke at a football game but that could be because I have asthma and am allergic to nicotine smoke!! So would it be so hard to actually follow the stadium rule of no smoking, if not for the people with asthma or nicotine smoke allergies, for the children who have tiny little lungs and weak immune systems!!! The other problem with guy fans is the drunken anger!! Like seriously that's ridiculous!! You have guys cursing loudly, with little kids in the vicinity, guys throwing things, such as water, at people below them, or when the guy threw the cowbell on to the field trying to hit the other team because of a bad call!!Oh yea that happened. Then you have the drunk guys with the cowbells ringing them for no reason or hittin them on the bleachers!! Really? What sense does that make? I understand your drunk but seriously, you have to have some sort of common sense going on up there....a little?...... un poco? lol

I guess not......

Well that's all Ihave to say about football fans, girls and guys both...... so I leave you with this quote from Christine Collange.....

"Common sense is perhaps the most equally divided, but surely the most underemployed, talent in the world."

Yaay I started a blog!!!

Lol!! Omg it's like my first official posting, wow i'm soo excited!! And a giant dork, but hey, i'm sooo ok with that!! :)

I, as i stated over and over again, am a twilighter!!! I've read all the books and fell in love with them and Robert pattinson on the screen!! lol Though I can admit that he was not what I imagined Edward to look like while reading the books, but i'm loving Rob either way. I did picture Bella to be better looking though and her voice not to be as manly....but I digress.......lol

Of course along with all the other twilight obsessed teens in the world i'm crazy about Rob Pattz!! And Team Edward all the way!! Team Jacob fans can go kick rocks!! lol :p

So i'll leave you with a quote by Kahlil Gibran

“Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit.”

“Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself. To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody to the night. To wake at dawn with a winged heart and give thanks for another day of loving.”
